Who?

The Heart of Wales Railcard is available to anyone aged 16 or over who is a resident in the qualifying postal areas.

What’s more, members of the Heart of Wales Line Travellers Association may purchase the railcard irrespective of their postal area.

When and Where?

Valid for one year, on standard class tickets for any journeys on the Heart of Wales Line, to and from stations between Swansea and Shrewsbury at one third off standard single and return fares. Perfect for travel for all students, commuters, families or leisure.

How much does a Heart of Wales Railcard cost?

The Heart of Wales Line (HOWL) Railcard costs just £10 and gives a discount of one third off all individual standard class rail fares.

Where can I buy a Heart of Wales Railcard?

Start saving today and get your Heart of Wales Railcard for just £10 by post or in person from the HOWL Travel Centre, Llandrindod Wells Railway Station.

To purchase your railcard, you’ll need to complete the application form and bring a proof of residence in the appropriate area, e.g. a driver’s licence, council tax demand or utility bill.
